About Me My name is Amber Davis and this is my fifth year of teaching but my first year of teaching at Hillcrest Middle School. This year I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade Math and I'll be coaching Cross Country. I taught 7th and 8th grade math at a middle school in southern California prior to my move to sunny Arizona. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Math. I recently completed my Mater of Arts in Teaching from the National University. I'm originally from Lake Arrowhead, which is located in the San Bernardino mountains. This is my second year living in a desert community so I'm still adjusting to the heat. I love the area so far and I've recieved nothing but support and friendliness from the staff. I look forward to a successful and fun academic year at Hillcrest Middle School!
The mission for the class is for students to understand and apply basic mathematic concepts to their everyday lives and have fun in the process. |
